SCOTT
GROTHE
Scott Grothe, the owner of THAT'S
ENTERTAINMENT has been providing music services since 1983
from Seattle Washington to Los Angeles California. With a
degree in Music Business from the Art Institute of Seattle,
extensive night club work for Hilton, Westin and currently
The Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa, Scott has the ability to
"read" a wide demographic of ages and provide an ideal mix
of music to these groups.
Scott also provides consulting
services to two night clubs in Santa Rosa and is currently
working with administrators associated with a new teen
center which will open in the Spring of 1999.
"85% of our business comes from
word-of-mouth referrals and we believe that this type of
business says a lot about our service. We may be a small
company, but that's what separates us from all of the other
DJ services. We want people to know that they are getting
"an owner" and not an employee on the day of their event. I
would love to bring additional DJ's on board, but In 15
years, I have only found one, (Paul Ente) who's style,
attitude and ability reflects what THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT is
all about."
PAUL
ENTE
Paul Ente has been in the mobile
DJ service for 24 years. His formal training came through
the Bobby McGee's Restaurant and Night club organization,
which is credited with providing one of the most respected
and rigorous DJ training centers in the country.
Paul has entertained for hotels
and night clubs in Scottsdale and Phoenix Arizona, Newport
Beach, Long Beach and Laguna Beach in Southern California,
multiple clubs in the San Francisco area, The Daily Planet
and Steamer Gold's both located in Sonoma County, and was
instrumental in designing the Sound and light system for
the Blue Tropics in Maui. Paul has also trained 15 disc jockeys in
previous years.
"Many people tend to over look
the importance of an "experienced" disc jockey for their
event. You only get one shot to make everything work on your
wedding day and if your DJ doesn't have the ability to read
your crowd or work in conjunction with the other vendors, it
can make for a less than enjoyable event."
