Many people have a
perception of the DJ industry as a group of less than
professional service providers. Unfortunately, this
perception is usually accurate due to the fact that Disc
Jockeys do not have to meet any qualifications or
certifications in order to call themselves, "professionals."
We approach each event from the perspective of what we would
expect at our own event. Someone who sings with the music,
who drags grandma onto the dance floor or tries to be a
comedian would not be a candidate for our entertainment
needs.
On the other hand, some clients
want their DJ to be the center of attention. This is where
the communication and education of each vendors' services
and style are critical.
We at THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT have a
belief that if you play the right music, you don't need to
resort to obnoxious behavior in order to get a crowd to
dance.
